DEVELOPING MATHEMATICAL MODELS TO DESCRIBE THE PROCESSES IN INTERMEDIATE EMULSION LAYERS IN HORIZONTAL CYLINDRICAL TANKS OF A THERMOCHEMICAL OIL TREATMENT UNIT


Dynamic sedimentation of oil emulsion in horizontal cylindrical sedimentation tanks of the thermochemical oil treatment unit has been studied, mathematical models for describing the structure of the intermediate emulsion layer have been developed. Using the experimental data, a mathematical model has been proposed for describing the dependence of the dynamic viscosity of oil on temperature.
