ON ONE APPROACH TO THE DETERMINATION OF COLOR CLOSENESS IN IMAGE SEGMENTATION

The distinction and selection of colors are challenging tasks in image processing and recognition systems. The selection of the proper features and criteria play an important role in said systems. The known methods of color classification mostly rely on empirically defined formulas. This paper proposes an ANFIS-based system that evaluates the color closeness. The efficiency of the method is tested on graphical images.
