Development of the controller module of the intelligent MESSDOSE dynamograph

Sucker rod pumping units (SRPU) are the most commonly used oil production equipment. Proper selection of the operating modes of a SRPU unit has a major impact on oil production. The correct operating modes are selected by examining the closed curves expressing the load on the hanger of the rod of the sucker-rod pump during the movement of the polished rod, i.e., the dynamometer charts of SRPU. In addition to determining the forces on the rod string, dynamometry also makes it possible to identify various malfunctions in the operation of the deep-well pump, to see how the pump works in the well. For this, it is necessary to compare the dynamometer chart obtained by means of various load cells currently used in oil wells (analog and frequency load cells, MESSDOSE load cell, etc.) with typical dynamometer charts. This article describes the hardware component of an Intelligent Messdose Dynamograph (IMD) device that can be easily installed between the crossheads of a sucker rod pumping unit and the development of a dynamograph controller (DC). The issues of building a perfect measuring device, IMD, by placing the traditional MESSDOSE dynamograph with a standard pressure sensor with DC based on modern microprocessor, communication and measurement devices in a single housing and its uninterrupted power supply from an alternative energy source are considered.
