A STEGANOGRAPHIC METHOD OF HIDING INFORMATION WITH THE USE OF FRACTAL SETS
The task of hiding information in the least significant bits of BMP-format images is considered. To increase the resistance to stegoanalysis, it is proposed to use only a certain portion of the pixels constituting the graphic images. To determine the position of pixels in the least significant bits of which information will be hidden, it is proposed to use the boundary points of the Mandelbrot and Julia fractals. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is verified by methods of visual and statistical analysis.
Keywords: steganography, fractal sets, Mandelbrot set, Julius set, complex number, encryption key, steganalysis
