OPTIMAL CONTROL OF EVOLUTIONARY PROCESSES IN THE ABSENCE OF ACCURATE INFORMATION ON THEIR INITIAL CONDITIONS
Optimal control problems for evolutionary processes without accurate information on the initial conditions are considered in the paper. We study two kinds of processes: the heat conductivity process and the wave process. The analytical formulas for the gradient of the target functional are obtained for corresponding optimal control processes. These formulas allow for using the first order optimization methods to solve the problems. The numerical experiments are carried out by using the proposed approach and an analysis of the obtained results is given.
