DETERMINING AVERAGE TIME AND VARIANCE OF THE FIRST OVERHAUL MOMENT OF COMPRESSOR DEVICE
In the paper, we find an explicit form of Laplace transform of distribution of the first overhaul moment of a compressor device, in particular its mathematical expectation and variance, by the probability-statistical method. The result obtained in the paper allows investigating the models related with random walks constructed over the sums of independent equidistributed random variables and applying them to some inventory theory problems and in oil industry.
