AN OPTIMAL CONTROL PROBLEM DESCRIBED BY A SYSTEM OF CANONICAL HYPERBOLIС EQUATIONS
In the paper we consider an optimal control problem described by a system of homogeneous partial differential equations of first order. Unlike the known works, the smoothness of the functions describing the quality criterion is not required. The first order necessary optimality conditions in the term of the derivative in direction are obtained.
Keywords: canonical hyperbolic equation, chemical reactor with the changing activity of the catalyst, necessary condition for optimality, optimization of chemical reactors
